      Read access profile:

      Whatever you pick, every template is also told the reader's answer preferences — language, depth, tone and reading time. Nothing else from the profile reaches it unless a box above is ticked.

      Background carries the reader's own background text and their “Anything else the AI should know” notes. Readers are told these go to all their templates, so leave it ticked unless this template should not see them.

      Lower temperature gives more deterministic answers; higher temperature gives more variation. Some models do not support custom temperature values, so this setting may be overridden automatically.

      Automatically stops long-running analysis requests after this limit.

      Uses provider web search when the selected model supports it.

      Optional. How hard this template's job needs the model to think. The reader's own choice overrides it, and models without an effort setting ignore it.
